5th Grade Leadership Team

The 5th grade leadership team is a dedicated group of students who wish to make a difference at Jefferson Elementary and be role models for their fellow students.
Leadership Team tasks include:
  • Helping at assemblies
  • Performing at assemblies and on morning announcements
  • Advertising community events and spirit days
  • Welcoming new students to Jefferson 
  • Community service projects
  • Student created projects
  • And more!

2023-2024 Meeting Dates

The Jefferson Leadership Team meets on Tuesdays from 3-4pm.
The final meeting date will be on Tuesday, June 4th for a celebration.

Leadership Team members received a free t-shirt thanks to the PTG. Thank you, to Brynn Snyder for designing our shirts. Students were able to screen their own t-shirts!

​Community Service
Leadership Team students learned about supporting refugees who are new to the Spokane community. Thank you to Mark Finney, executive director of Thrive International, for speaking to our group. Leadership students helped educate other students and collected household items for refugees through PTG's annual Hearts and Hands service project.
