Teacher Appreciation Week
Week of May 6th PTG will be providing staff with a catered lunch and various other treats throughout the week! Watch for volunteer sign ups.
Jefferson Alumni Scholarship
Mid-May- Early June: Dates TBD Jefferson PTG awards a $500 scholarship to one graduating senior who attended Jefferson Elementary School. Please check back soon for the scholarship application.

Welcome Back Night
Socialized with friends on the playground and kicked off the new school year!
Coffee & Conversation
Hired Surge Coffee Co. truck to provide a free coffee for staff and make coffee available for purchase for parents.
Fall LC Feeder Pattern Event
Gathering of all the LC Feeder Pattern schools at Sacajawea for a social and LC football game at One Spokane Stadium.
Trunk or Treat
A fun night of trick or treating at decorated cars in the Jefferson parking lot. Raffle fundraiser.
Chiefs Hockey Night
Jefferson community gathering at the Chiefs hockey game.
Family Glow Dance
A fun night of dancing with staff, family, and friends! We hire a DJ and break out the glow sticks. This is a community favorite event!
Hearts and Hands
Every Valentine's Day week we partner with a local organization and educate the students' about their mission. Students collect items to donate to the organization. This year with partnered with Thrive International to support refugees new to Spokane.
Grade Level Socials
4th graders went ice skating at the ice ribbon to get outside and connect with each other.
Reading Night
Students come to school in the evening to hear picture books read by their teachers and administrators. Millie the dog is even there to snuggle with during a story.
STEM Night & Student STEM Fair
Along with our wonderful science teacher, Mrs. Pearcy, the PTG helps fund and volunteer at this amazing STEM night. Over 30 STEM experts from the community come and share exhibits with our students. Students then have the opportunity at a later date to present their own STEM projects.
Roller Skating Night
All school social at Roller Valley.
Enrichment Assemblies
This year Spokane Ballet Ensemble performed scenes from Swan Lake and the Nutcracker for our students.
Variety Show
Our talented students rehearsed for month and put on an amazing Variety Show! Acts included knitting, stop motion videos, magic, choreographed dances, orginial songs, and more!

Teacher and Staff Requests
Teachers and staff are encouraged to request funds to support their teaching and our students. Some examples of past requests are field trips, learning tools, classroom furniture, playground supplies, etc.
Playground Upgrades and Maintenance
We provided new picnic tables, buddy bench and bike racks. More projects are currently being planned. We fund winter snow plowing for our blacktop.
School Spirit T-shirt Orders
PTG managed the all-school spirit t-shirt ordering and contributed towards shirts for students who were unable to purchase one.
Jefferson Alumni Scholarship
