Kindergarten Sneak Peek
8/21 10-11am
Incoming kindergarteners will get a chance to explore their new classrooms, meet their teachers, and get excited for the school year ahead. While the kids have fun inside, parents are invited to gather on the blacktop for coffee, donuts, and a chance to connect with the PTG and other families.
Back to School Blacktop Bash
8/28 5-7PM
Get ready to kick off the new school year at our Back-to-School Blacktop Bash! Bring the whole family for an evening of food trucks, music, picnic-style dinner, and plenty of fun with Jefferson families. It’s the perfect way to reconnect, relax, and celebrate the start of another great year together.
Coffee and Conversation
9/9 7:30-9:30AM
Join us for Coffee and Conversation on the first day that 1st-5th grade and all of kindergarten have their full day! The PTG is treating our amazing teachers and staff to coffee from the mobile Surge Coffee Co. truck. Parents are welcome to stop by, grab a cup, and connect with other Jefferson families while we celebrate the start of a new school year.

Trunk or Treat

Come in costume and enjoy a festive evening filled with creative trunks, sweet treats, and Halloween fun for the whole family. It’s a safe and memorable way to celebrate with our school community.
Reading Night

Join us for Reading Night—a cozy evening celebrating the joy of books! Come in your comfiest pajamas and enjoy storytime with parent volunteers and teachers. The Book Fair will be open, so you can pick out new favorites to take home. It’s a fun, relaxed night for families to share the love of reading together.
STEM Expo

Discover, explore, and get hands-on at the STEM Expo! Join local scientists and community experts for an exciting night of science, technology, engineering, and math. From fun experiments to fascinating displays—there might even be a real brain to check out! It’s a night of curiosity and learning for the whole family.
Glow Dance

Get ready to shine at the Glow Dance—a beloved Jefferson tradition! Wear your brightest neon, grab your glow gear, and hit the dance floor for a night of music, fun, and celebration with friends and families. It’s a party you won’t want to miss!
Student STEM Fair

Open to all grades, students can showcase their science, technology, engineering, and math projects for friends, family, and the school community.
Variety Show
Auditions begin on 1/26 and 1/27
Cheer on our talented students at the Jefferson Variety Show! Open to all grades, it’s a chance for kids to show off a special talent—whether it’s singing, dancing, magic, or comedy. It’s always a fun, heartwarming night for the whole family.
Field Day
Date TBD in June
Get ready for one of the most exciting days of the year—Field Day! Parents are invited to come cheer on the kids as they take part in tug-of-war, sack races, and giant inflatable obstacle courses. It’s a high-energy day full of laughter, teamwork, and unforgettable fun for students and families alike.

Jefferson Student and Family Support

Provide clothing for the nurse's clothing closet.
Holiday gift cards for families in need.

Teacher and Staff Requests

Teachers and staff are encouraged to request funds to support their teaching and our students. Some examples of past requests are field trips, learning tools, classroom furniture, playground supplies, etc.

Playground Upgrades and Maintenance

We provided new picnic tables, buddy bench and bike racks. More projects are currently being planned.
We fund winter snow plowing for our blacktop.

School Spirit T-shirt Orders

PTG managed the all-school spirit t-shirt ordering and contributed towards shirts for students who were unable to purchase one.

Jefferson Alumni Scholarship

We provide a $500 scholarship to one graduating high school senior who attended Jefferson Elementary School and plans to continue their education after high school.

Volunteer Coordination

We provide volunteer recruitment and organization for the majority of Jefferson events.
